In Westway, Cenedella isolates a moment in NYC history and illustrates the fear and destruction of corruption. For those not familiar with the Westway project in NYC, there were plans (as far back as 1973) to relocate a section of the West Side Highway (25th-34th Sts, 12th Avenue) into a proposed tunnel in order to have urban parkland and commercial, retail and residential buildings built above it.
