    Slices of Maine

    Every summer, Cenedella travels to Maine and lives on an island for three months where he works on his plain-air paintings and sculptures.

    This series, called “Slices of Maine,” is little known and stands apart from his other artwork because of the uniqueness from multiple perspectives, including but, not limited to, the presence of nature, the sizing of each canvas, the location in which it was painted, etc...

    All oils on canvas in this series were conceived and painted on the island from the 1990s-2000s.
