Black and White - The LBJ Drawings

The LBJ Drawings are a series of depictions surrounding President Lyndon B. Johnson, the 36th President of the United States. These were all drawn in the late 1960's using Cenedella's Black & While, Ink Brush technique. In multiple drawings, Johnson takes the form of figures from film and real life, including Rocky Marciano, Timothy Leary, Thomas Jefferson, and others. Cenedella also draws Johnson as himself, but in comical scenarios.

Most of these drawings have not been exhibited in their original form, and are available exclusively here.
